Fritz Family Farm
We believe that fresh produce should be accessible to all families in our community.
Who We Are
Abigail and Michael Fritz started their journey to farming while still living in the northern New Jersey town of Woodbridge. Abigail was working as a pediatric oncology nurse and Michael as a fire fighter. Like so many others, they had a small backyard garden where they grew a few tomato plants, some peppers and herbs. Each year the garden grew in size, as did their love for growing fresh vegetables for their family.
Flash forward a few years, they found themselves scrolling Zillow when they stumbled upon an opportunity that would change the lives of their entire family. Purchasing a 3.5 acre farm in the town of Sewell. “Wait, where?” they said to each other. Trading in scrubs for Carhartts, and Nikes for muck boots they packed up the kids and never looked back.
The Fritz family believe strongly in knowing what’s in your food and where it comes from. On the farm they strive to teach their children the importance of eating healthy, how to care for animals, and that getting your hands dirty isn’t a bad thing.
